To respect such a commitment, Al Bano departs from the small town of Cellino San Marco, in the heart of the Salento, leaving behind a very modest and poor situation but also a great promise to his father Don Carmelo. Needless to say, the promise was kept.

In 1973, Al Bano returned and founded his winery, with a first production of white wines named after his father, Don Carmelo.

Today the winery produces a vast array of wines, including award winning reds, sparkling wines, grappa and an excellent olive oil.

AI Bano Carrisi personally takes care of his prestigious Cellino San Marco holdings in the province of Brindisi.
