“If I had to define our key words I would think of the land, of roots, of care and respect, of passion, of hands and hearts, of work, of care for the environment, of challenges, discoveries, courage and freedom. Our products originate from an ethical approach in the broadest sense which takes into account giving something back to nature as an essential prerequisite for the future, both ours and that of our children.”
Stefano Casadei

An ethical approach to agriculture and more generally to life, which Anna and Stefano Casadei have defined as Biointegral.

Being Biointegral is following a new concept of ethical farming that requires the return of agriculture to nature.

Being BioIntegrated is knowing that harmony in a broad sense brings welfare: if you protect nature you not only defend the environment in which you work but you respect the people who work with you.

Being BioIntegral is recovering agricultural practices linked to tradition and to our past that limit interventions on the plant, the preserve over time, which enables a deeper rooting in the soil.

In the heart of Chianti, Castello del Trebbio is a manor with a glorious past (this is where the famous de’ Pazzi Conspiracy was plotted) that dominates an Estate of 350 hectares with a double purpose; organic production of wine and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and agritourism. A magical place that has lived through the great Florentine history and that the current property has taken care of, restored and expanded since the 1970s, without stopping. In addition to the excellent wines (including a Sangiovese aged in amphora), there is also production of EVO oil, pure saffron in pistils and spelt.

Stefano and Anna Casadei are the founders of Famiglia Casadei, a group of wineries that are the fruit of a life’s work.

Today they have been able to build a reality that, from Chianti, has expanded its production still in Tuscany to Suvereto, with the Casadei Estate up to Sardinia with the Olianas Estate. Alongside the original wine production, the offer was then extended to hospitality, quality catering, a Food line and a Cosmetics line.

Attention should be paid to the series of Le Anfore by Elena Casadei: sangiovese, syrah, cannonau, trebbiano, moscato, semidano, malvasco (malvasia + nasco) are the vines, selected from the various companies of the group, which, in the transformation into wine, see no other containers apart from the amphora.

All wines have a European bio-certificate.
